John Hansen drives the #8H Modified Class car. He lives in  Brush, CO. His home track is Ft. Morgan, CO. but he can also be found racing at Holyoke County Speedway, Canyon Speedway, AZ and Colby Speedway, KS.

He began racing in 1998 in Modified Class at Ft. Morgan, CO. His first race was in 1999 in Modified Class at Holyoke, CO. Career highlights include, 2002 Track Champion-I-76 Speedway Ft. Morgan, CO. Modified Class, Pit Crew of the Year Award by Dirt Magazine, and several Feature wins.

The thrills of racing for him are having fun with family and friends and the competition. His most exciting racing moment was winning the Track Championship.  He is most proud of running good when they travel to unfamiliar tracks.
