Rik Gropp drives the #V45 IMCA Modified
Class car. He lives in Lincoln, NE. His home track is Eagle
Raceway.
He started racing in 1981 in the Hobby
Stock at Beatrice Speedway for the thrill of competition and speed.
His first win was in that same year. Career highlights include:
61 career Feature wins, 1989 Eagle Track Champion, 1996 Nebraska Dwarf Car
Champion, Eagle Nationals Champion 1989, Ivan Stewart Memorial Champion in
1991, qualified for Harris Clash 2002.
The thrill of racing for Rik is the
competition, the camaraderie, family and friends. His most exciting
racing moment was the 1989 Eagle Track Championship. He's most proud
of his car owner, crew, and the longevity of his team. The owner and
driver have been together for 20 years!
