Chris Ullrich drives the #01u Stock Car class car.  His home track is Shelby County Speedway, but he can also be found racing at Buena Vista Speedway and Crawford County Speedway.  He lives in Kiron, IA.

Team members helping Chris are:  Wendy Ullrich, Sam Mortensen, Andy Mortensen, Jamie Redenius.

Chris started racing in 1998 in the Stock Car Class at Crawford County Speedway because he thought it was cool when he saw someone win and he wanted to be cool also.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include 2000 and 2001 Track Championships at Crawford County Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Chris is the rush.  His most exciting racing moment was making the Boone Super Nationals on the first night in 2004.  He's most proud of his Popular Driver Award at Crawford County Speedway in 2001, Best Appearing Car at Blackbird Bend Speedway in 2002.

Chris's racing hero is Doug Riley (local racer).

Of racing, Chris says, "Costs a lot of money!".
