Rod Staats drives the #08s Stock car.  His home track is Lee County Speedway but he can also be found racing at 34 Raceway.  He lives in Col. Jct., IA.

Team members helping Rod are:  Mitchell Staats, Rick Stroud, Kenny Poor, Paul Lawson. 

Rod started racing in 1993 in the Stock Car class at 34 Raceway and Lee County Speedway because it's in his blood and his Dad raced.  His first win was in '01 in the Stock Car class at C J Raceway.  Career highlights include National Champion in Karting Dirt.

The thrill of racing for Rod is being competitive.  His most exciting racing moment was Nationals 2010 Sport Mod qualifying for Main event.  He's most proud of meeting friends.

Rod's racing hero is Terry Sherfick.
