Joe Voss drives the #1v Stock Car.  His home track is Arlington Raceway but he can also be found racing at Redwood Speedway.  He lives in Belle Plain, MN.

Joe started racing in 1981 in the Enduro Class at Arlington Raceway because his Dad owned a salvage yard and had plenty of parts.  His first win was in '82 in the Bomber Class at Arlington Raceway.  Career highlights include Track Championship '96 in IMCA Stock Car, won Jeff Rucks Memorial Award '92, won Floyd Allen Family Award in '97.

The thrill of racing for Joe is the competition and going fast.  His most exciting racing moment was winning 6 Features in a row at Arlington Raceway in '97.  He's most proud of being respected by all the drivers in his class.

Joe's racing hero is his Father.

Of racing, Joe says, "That racing is competitive and that you always don't have to win to have fun!".
