Kevin Rose
#22
Kevin Rose drives the #22 IMCA Stock Car
Class car. His home track is Benton County Speedway but he can
also be found racing at Independence Raceway. He lives in
Waterloo, IA.
Team members helping Kevin are:
Shelley Rose (aka Pit Bitch), Crew Chief - Mark Rose, Dan Laudenbau,
Bill Kammeyer and anyone else who shows up.
Kevin started racing in 2002 in the
Stock Car Class at Independence Raceway because his brother Dwight took
Kevin when he was a kid. Kevin knew he had to do it someday.
His first win was in 2003 in the Stock Car Class at Benton County
Speedway. Career highlights include his first win in July, '03,
2nd win in May, '05.
The thrill of racing for Kevin is side
by side racing. His most exciting racing moment was first time at
Super Nationals. Having the whole rear end fly out from under the
car before taking a checkered. He's most proud of reading articles
and making it work on the car.
Kevin's racing heroes are the Pioneers
of racing.
Of racing, Kevin says, "A lot of hard
work, sweat and tears and then taking the checkered!".
