Merlyn Hegland drives the #37 Stock Car.  His home track is I-35 Speedway.  He lives in Rudd, IA.

Merlyn started racing in 1994 in the Enduro Class at Raceway Park because it looked like fun.  His first win was in '99 in the Enduro Class at Raceway Park.  Career highlights include Stock Car wins.

The thrill of racing for Merlyn is just having fun.  He's most proud of clean driving.

Merlyn's racing hero is Jeff Gordon.

Of racing, Merlyn says, "It's fun but a bad disease without a cure!".
