Shawn Wagner drives the #55w IMCA Stock Car Class car.  His home track is Shawano Speedway but he can also be found racing at Seymour Speedway and Luxemburg Speedway.  He lives in Seymour, WI.

Team members helping Shawn are:  Aaron Van, Tom Eliason, Hot Red, Dan Athey.  Hot Rod Snellenberger is the car owner.

Shawn started racing in 1992 in the Non-Studded Jrs. Class at Shawano Lake Speedway because his Dad raced and Shawn ran his Dad's car in the Jr. Class.  His first win was in the Jr. Non Studded Ice Class at Shawano Lake Speedway.  Career highlights include 1998 Seymour Tri-Oval Street Stock Track Champion, 1999 Rookie of the Year IMCA Stock Car at Seymour Speedway, Oshkosh Speed Zone Raceway and Luxemburg Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Shawn is strapping in and getting ready to go and the adrenaline starts flowing.  His most exciting racing moment was his first win at Thunderhill Raceway in Street Stocks.  He's most proud of being able to compete weekly and still at a competitive pace.

Shawn's racing hero is Mark Martin.
