Damon Murty drives the #99D Stock Car
Class car. His home track is Benton County Speedway but he can
also be found racing at Marshalltown Speedway, Boone Speedway and
Independence Motor Speedway. He lives in Chelsea, IA.

Damon started racing in 1994 in the
Hobby Stock Class at Marshalltown Speedway because his Uncle David got
him started. His first win was in 1995 in the Hobby Stock Class at
Marshalltown Speedway. Career highlights include 1999 placed 2nd
in Hobby National Championship, 2000 won HObby National Championship,
2005 won Stock Car National Championship, 2004 won Stockville
Championship in Knoxville, 2006 won Stock Car Shootout at Marshalltown
Speedway, 2005-2006 won Track Championship at Benton County Speedway.
The thrill of racing for Damon is
winning both Hobby and Stock Car National Championships, making him the
only driver to do that. His most exciting racing moment was
finally making it into the A Main of Super Nationals this year and not
fighting for it Tuesday and Wednesday!! Also winning the Stock Car
Shootout. He's most proud that they have a lot of fun racing and
that it's even "funner" being able to win!
