Jared Timmerman

Jared Timmerman drives the #7+ Sport Mod
Class car. His home track is Boone Speedway but he can also be found
racing at Marshalltown Speedway, Stuart Speedway and Knoxville Raceway.
He lives in Norwalk, IA.
Team members helping Jared are: Dad,
Grandpas, Carl, Dylan, Jon, sister - Mandy, Jesse, Matt, Mike and David.
Jared and his Dad are the car owners.
Jared started racing in 2004 in the Hobby
Stock Class at Boone Speedway because he'd always loved racing. His
Dad was a big NASCAR fan and it grew from there. His first win was
in '06 in the Hobby Stock Class at Boone Speedway. Career highlights
include 1 win in Hobby Stock in '06. They got into racing with old
equipment and just worked harder than everyone else because they have
limited funds since Jared has to pay for racing and college.
The thrill of racing for Jared is the
competition. He is very competitive, loves winning and the speed!
He just wants to go fast! His most exciting racing moment was his
first win. All that hard work had really paid off....until his motor
was claimed! He's most proud of the fact that his Dad and he are the
only ones that work on the car full time and they use old used up
equipment and are still competitive.
Jared's racing heroes are Dale Earnhardt
and his brother-in-law, Mike Molle.
