Al Johnson drives the #8 Late Model Class car.  His home track is Hamilton County Speedway but he can also be found racing at Boone Speedway.  He lives in Story City, IA.

Team members helping Al are:  Tony and Kurt.  Conley Trucking owns the car.

Al started racing in 1991 in the Stock Car Class at Hamilton County Speedway after watching a Winston Cup Race, he wanted to try it.  His first win was in 1993 in the Stock Car Class at Hamilton County Speedway.  Career highlights include Track Championship at Hamilton County Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Al is the fun.  His most exciting racing moment was finishing 2nd at the 1994 Super Nationals in Stock Car.  He's most proud of his Late Model wins.

Al's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.
