Teddy Nelson #34 Teddy is from Pinellas Park Fl. He is 34 years old and races late models. Citrus co is his home track but he races sunshine, Bronson, USA International, New Smyrna, Ocala, and Desoto. Steve started racing in 1987 in mini stocks. he had been around racing every since he was a kid and he loved it. He got his first win at Sunshine Speedway in a street stock in 1988. Teddy won the track championship in 1999 and 2000 in the open wheel modified class at Sunshine speedway. The car is a 1999Chevrolet, with a Howe chassis and a Nelson Bros Racing engine. Winning back to back championships ranks as Teddy's greatest accomplishment. Winning is the thrill. The goal is to race late models this year at Citrus Co and to be as competitive as he was in the open wheel modified. James and Jeter Nelson, Marshall Austin,Neil Darling, Nelloe Diane Perez, Cindy Nelson his wife and Ronnie Skipper all have helped with the car and the racing program.
