     Marvin is from Beecher City, Il. and is 31 years old.  He began racing  Bombers in 1997.  He got his first win last year at  Fayette County Speedway.  He races at  Brownstown, Mt. Vernon and Charleston, Il.

     Marvin was  4th in points at Brownstown in 1999.  Marvin says that winning a Feature at Mt. Vernon is his biggest racing accomplishment.

    THE CAR:  Is a Ford Thunderbird with a 351.cu. in. Windsor engine.

Marvin races to "have fun" and he says friends , family, and fellow racers have helped him .

Darrell Waltrip is his racing hero.

Marvin says  "First you have to finish to finish first."
