Wes Steidinger


Wes is 19 years old and from Fairbury. Fairbury is his home track and he also races Danville Kankakee, and Farmer City.

He drives a Masterbilt Chevy  late model with a K-Motion engine.

Wes began racing in 1996 in go karts at Pontiac Route 66.  He got his  first win hi rookie year. He had always went to the races and he always wanted to do it.

2001 was a great year for Wes. He had 10 wins. He was the Thunder and lightning points Champion.  He won the King of the Quarter Mile at Limaland Speedway.  He was 25th in UMP national points.

Just being where he is in racing thrills Wes. Winning the the King of the Quarter Mile was his biggest thrill in racing.  Winning the Thunder and Lightning Championship ranks as his greatest racing accomplishment.

The crew and help come from Dad, Terry Haron, Cory Cottrell, Scot Fehr, Jim Hosclton, Brian Miller, and Roger Haron.

Tony Stewart is his racing hero.
