     Richie began racing in 1995 in the modified division, just for the challenge of it. His first win came in his rookie year at Danville. Richie's best points finish was 5th at Brownstown, IN in 2000

     Richie's late model is a GRT chassis powered by a Hedrick race engine. His racing hero is Jeff Gordon.

     Richie's greatest accomplishment was finishing 22nd in the UMP national points in 1996.
