Shawn is 23 years old and from Holder Il. Farmer city is his home track and he also runs at spoon river raceway and Macon speedway.

Shawn started racing in a Late Model at Spoon River in 2001. Its a hobby he enjoys.

He got his first win at Farmer City raceway in 2002 in a sportsman.  It was the first race of the year and he won the semi. Shawn had tried to get out at the end of 2001 and get a few races under his  belt to get the butterflies out, "but I still get them."

The speed is the thrill for Shawn.

His greatest racing thrill was "seeing the white flag drop and I was leading not a lap down."
