Eddie Shickel

     Eddie Shickel late model #5RC from Normal, IL is 39 years of age. Farmer City Raceway is his home track but you can also catch him at LaSalle.

     Eddie began racing in 1982 in the late model division. He got his first win that same year at Peoria Speedway. Eddie's best points finish was 3rd at Farmer City in 1987.

     Eddie's #5RC late model is a Warrior chassis powered by a NAC race engine. His racing hero is Ray Guss Sr. 

      Eddie's greatest racing accomplishments are his wins at Danville and Spoon River. His racing goal is to race the Hav-a-Tampa series in Florida.
