Danny Smith

Danny Smith modified #D98 from Argenta, IL is 22 years of age. He began racing in 1996 in the bomber division. His first win came that same year at Macon Speedway. 

Danny’s uncle got him started in the sport, Danny helped him since age 11. Danny’s home track is Farmer City. His best points finish was 8th in 1996 in the bomber division at Macon Speedway. 

Danny’s modified is a 2000 factory Mustang body powered by a 355 Chevy. He got his first modified win at Farmer City in 2001. Danny’s greatest racing accomplishment is finishing top ten in points the first two years racing.
