 Lawrence is racing the #59 Mid-America car at his home track of Grundy County.  He is from Coal City and 27 years old.

Lawrence started racing in 1994 in the Street Stock class because "He likes speed!".  His first win was in 1996, Street Stock class at Grundy County.  He ranked 15th in 1999 at Grundy County in the Street Stock.

He drives a Pontiac Grand Prix and his racing hero is Tony Stewart.

His greatest accomplishment is getting a Mid-America car and his greatest thrill is "going fast".  He wants to move up to the Late Models.
