     Steve Theivagt limited late model #36 from Virginia, IL is 46 years of age. His home track is Jacksonville Raceway but you can also see Steve at Macomb and Spoon River.

     Steve began racing in 1972 in the street stock division. His first win came in his rookie year at Pittsfield Speedway. Steve's was the 1979 & 1989 sportsman track champ at Jacksonville.

     Steve's limited is a BRC chassis powered by a Chevy 406 race engine. His racing hero is Bill Elliott.

     Steve's greatest racing accomplishments are his 2 track championships and racing twice in Coventry, England in the World championship race. His greatest racing thrill was racing in England. Steve's racing goal is "racing weekly to have fun"!
