     Travis Johnson street stock #18 from Ashland, IL is 27 years of age. Jacksonville Speedway is his home track but you can also catch him at Farmer City and Canton.

     Travis began racing in 1987 in a go-kart. His first win came in his rookie year. Travis finished 3rd in points that same year.

     Travis has competed in a late model, modified and currently in a street stock. He has raced at more than 30 tracks in 4 states.

     Travis's street stock is a MRE chassis powered by a 358 Chevy race engine. His racing hero is the late Alan Kulwicki.

     Travis's greatest racing thrill was running a UMP Summer Nationals race and being competitive. His racing goal is continue to run competitively and to race for a long time.

     Travis would like to thank his fiancee, his parents, his sister and all of his friends for their help and support in his racing career.
