     Derek Mungor mini sprint #D20 from Walnut, IL is 14 years of age. You can catch him at Jacksonville Raceway and Macon Speedway.

     Derek began racing in 1994 in a go-kart. He got his first win in his rookie year in the stock class in Utica, IL. Derek won track championships in 1996 at Utica and Jules Speedway in the champ kart division.

     Derek's mini sprint is a 2000 Cleland chassis powered by a Honda 600. His racing hero is Jeff Gordon.

     Derek's greatest racing accomplishment is winning 3 track championships in 1996. His greatest racing thrill was winning a feature at Jacksonville Raceway with a stock engine. Derek's goal is to someday make it to Winston Cup.
