     Fred Reed Jr. #2 from Decatur, Il is 24 years of age. He began racing in 1997 in the bomber division. Fred calls Macon Speedway home every Saturday night.

     His first win came in 2000 and his best points finish was 6th in 1998. Fred also races at Farmer City on Friday night.

     His racing heroes are Jeff Gordon and the late Dale Earnhardt. Fred comes from a family of race car drivers so I guess you could say "it's in his blood". He hopes to someday drive a modified. 

Fred would like to thank EVERYONE who has helped him along the way in his racing career.
