Wes Smith

     Wes Smith super street #33 from Mt. Carmel, IL is 33 years of age. He races at Clay County Speedway, Red Hill Raceway and Sullivan, IN.

     Wes began racing in 1995 in the bomber division. He got his first win in 2001 at Clay County Speedway. He is currently running 2nd in points in the super street division at Red Hill Raceway.

     Wes's super street is a '78 Trans Am body powered by a 406 race engine. His racing heroes are the late Dale Earnhardt and his son Dale Earnhardt Jr.

     Wes's greatest racing accomplishment was winning the super street feature on August 3, 2001. His biggest racing thrill was coming from 17th to 2nd in a feature. Wes hopes to drive a UMP modified in 2002.

     Wes would like to thank his wife, his kids, mom, grandma and his crew for all of their help and support.
