Shane is 24 years old and  races Modfieds out of DuQuoin Il.. Mt.Vernon is his home track, but he also races at Clay Co.

2001 is Shane's rookie year.  He started racing because its "in the blood."

The car is a Ellis Chassis  with a Chevy by Baker.

Dale Earnhardt and Tony Stewart  are Shane's racing heroes.

Running second at Flora is his greatest accomplishment in his rookie year. Out running the older guys with more experience is hit biggest thrill.

The goal is to get more seat time now, then to win races.

Mitchell, Louie Sr. and Louie Baker jr., and Ken Dorsey have helped with the racing program.
