Rick Scott

     Rick is from Decatur Ill. He is 52 and started racing sprint cars in 1973 at Joe Sheens Springfield Speedway. He won his first race in his rookie season. In 1977 Rick ran 5 th in the points in the tough sprint car division at Springfield. 

      The car is a "dirt works" with a 388 cu. in Chevy.

      Rick races at Macon, Farmer City and Brownstown.  He began racing because he "loves the sport" 

       Rick races because he enjoys the racing and to have a good time.  

       When Driving sprint cars  Rick beat Kenny Schrader in the Trophy dash in Farmington Mo.

      Dick Sites, Jeff Sites, Jim Walker, Jeff Probus,  Joe Black, and Justin Hill have helped Rick.

      Dick Watson is Ricks "Racin' hero.
