Mark Faust late model #51 from Breese, IL is 41 years of age. He began racing in 1978 in a late model. Mark’s father Robert Faust and his uncle Bill Faust got him started in the sport. Mark’s home track is Highland. 

Mark’s car is a Shaw chassis powered by a 430 engine. His first win came in 1978 at Highland. Mark’s accomplishments since then have been outstanding. Winning the UMP points in 1998, also winning track championships at Highland, BelleClaire and Haubstadt in 1998. What a year that was!!! 

Mark’s racing hero is “The Tall Cool One” Bob Pierce. His racing goals for the future include running for another UMP championship. Mark would like to thank Herbie Derkes, Mike Faust, Arnie Schrage, Dan Diesen, Ken Diesen, Jeff Schultz, Buck Hancock and Tom & Travis Goestenkors for all of their help and support.
