Jeremy Coomes is 17 years old and races out of Vincennes In. Red Hill is his home track, but he also runs Tri-state In,, and Windy Hollow Ky.

2001 was Jeremy's rookie year. He had been going to the races all his life and always wanted to do it. He got the chance to drive and he took it.

The car: is a Chevy Monte Carlo with a  "350". 

Danny Claycomb is his racing hero.

Jeremy started 12th in a feature and got up to 7th, he lost a weight and spun out. He had to start dead last of 23 cars anbd moved back up to 9th in 5 laps. 

Jeremy's thrill was being spun into the wall.  He didn't know what it woudl feel like to hit somthing like that, that hard.

Coomes racing is happy with the first year and goal is to get into the top 10 in points, and next year hopefuly win.

The Crew is Terry  and Robert Coomes Robert , Adam Barnes, Simon Daub, and Brent McGriffen.
