Lindell Jewell drives the #29J Late Model Class car.  He is 33 years old and lives in East Peoria, IL.  His Home Track is Spoon River Speedway.

Lindell drives the Pepsi blue and black Chevrolet with a Shaw Chassis.

He started racing in 1996 in the Pro Street Class at Spoon River Speedway because "it looked like fun.  I had been helping on Dave Kniep's Modified crew and decided to buy my own car".

Lindell's first win was in 1998 in the E-Modified Class at Spoon River Speedway.

In 2001 Lindell switched from Modified to Late Model mid season.

He had 3 Feature wins in E-Modified Class and finished in the top 10 in points in 1997, 1998, 1999 and 2000.

The thrill of racing is the competition and the speed.  His greatest racing thrill was his first Feature win.  The scariest was flipping 5 times in turn 1-2 in E-Modified Feature.  Lindell's greatest racing accomplishment was moving to Late Model.

Lindell's racing goal is to be competitive from week to week without destroying the car and having fun in the process.

His wife Nancy, son Cameron, Mark DeSantis, Dean Hunt, Marcey Hunt and Les Davis have helped with Lindell's racing career.

Lindell's racing hero is Jeff Gordon.
