Rob Bauman drives the #30 Late Model Class car.  He is 39 years old and lives in Fairview, IL.  Rob's Home Track is Spoon River Speedway but he can also be found racing at Peoria Speedway.

Rob drives the brown and white car with a REC Chassis and 377 Chevy engine.

Rob started racing in 1980 in the Sportsman Class at Peoria Speedway, because his dad raced and he wanted to follow in his foot steps.  His first win was in 1982 in the Sportsman Class.

In 2001 Rob finished in the top ten in Late Model points.  His career highlights include in 1982 Track Championship in Sportsman Division at Peoria Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Rob is going fast and turning left.  His greatest thrill was driving the 16A Late Model last year at the Pappy&Bob Allen Memorial Race at Peoria Speedway, knowing that he was the only driver to win a race in that car for the 2001 season.   Rob's greatest moment in racing was winning 2 Track Championships and winning his first Feature after 18 years of racing.

Rob Bauman Jr., Willie Bauman, Jim Winchell, Bud Welker, Tim Harris  and the whole F-13 crew (James, Dawn, Jeff, and Randy) help Rob in his racing program.

Alan Kulwicki and Ed Bolen are Rob's racing heroes....they did it their way.

Rob's quote is "Let's do it!".
