ROBERT A. TAYLOR

Robert A. Taylor drives the #LT1 UMP Modified car.  He is 54 years old and lives in Newburgh, IN.  His Home Track is Chandler but also races in Nebo, KY.

Robert started racing in 1997 in the Modified class at Chandler.  He raced 25 years before.  When he turned 50, he wanted to try racing again.  His first win was in the Modified class at Chandler in 2002.

2001 Highlights include several Heat and Consolation wins, three 2nd Places.  Also raced Nebo and Windy Hollow, KY and Chandler and Haubstadt, IN.

The thrill of racing for Robert is trying to do the best he can.  The May 31, 2002 was his greatest racing thrill.  Robert's goals are to have several more wins and retire in 2003.

His sons Robert & Billy, Brother Don, friends Wayne, Tim, Spence and his wife Cindy help with his racing career.

Dale Earnhardt is Robert's favorite racing driver.
