Brady Short

#36

Brady is 17 years old and from Bedford In. Bloomington is  his home track but he also races at Gas City, Montpellier, Red Hill, Voluisa, and East Bay.

The car is a Hobbs Chassis.

Bradley started racing in 2000 in a street stock at Bloomington. When we ask Brady why he started racing  said, "It was in my family, and I loved it." He got his first win in his rookie year in a street stock at Bloomington.

In 2001 Brady was rookie of the year in modifieds. He started on the rear of a feature in Montpellier and finished 2nd.  "I passes one of the best drivers Lee Hobbs."  Lee builds cars for the Short Family, so you can see how much this would mean to Brady.

At East Bay  at the Winter Nationals in 2002 there was 130 cars  for a 100 lap feature and Brady make the show. He ran 15th and was racing with  his dad in brother in the same race.

The competition and the speed are the thrill of racing for Brady.

Racing against his brother and dad is his greatest thrill.

Brady ranks getting rookie of the year in both the Street stocks and modified class as his greatest racing accomplishment.

Brady's goal is "doing the best I can and making it to Nascar.

His family and the Hobbs family help.

Dale Earnahrdt is Brady's racing hero.
