Shelby is from Bloomington In. His home track is Bloomington , but he races Sullivan, North Vernon,  and Brownstown.

Shelby began racing mods in  late 2000 because "I love it!" 

 The car: is a Preden Chassis with a Chevy Motor.

Dale Earnhardt is Shelbys racin hero.

2001 Highlights: Shelby won rookie of the year was 5th in the points and a regular top 5 car.

Running second to Kenny Schrader at Haubstat is Shelbys greatest racing accomplishment so far.

"Backin it in!" of a fast tacky track in his biggest thrill.

Shelby wants to "be the best I can that night!" He would like to move up to late model an run some asphalt. Justin Radcliff, Chris and Ray Humphrey, Judy &Mike Mills, Marvin O'Neal and Ralph Croomer have helped.
