Willie races late models at Twin Cities raceway his home track and Brownstown.

The 2002 car is a Rayburn Monte Carlo with a Hixon Engine. Ed Phillips owns the car. 

Willie started racin in 1976 in a street stock at Twin Cities. A friend ask him to drive his car.  he won his first race his rookie year at Twin Cities in a street stock.

Willie says "there have been so many highlights , but finishing in the top 10 in points in every thing I races every year would rank as the best.

2001 and  Willie won the Twin Cities Bomber Track Championship.

The thrill of racin is the "speed and competition."  Winning a late model feature in 1988 was  Willys biggest racing thrill. 

Help comes from his wife Wanda, daughters Cindy and April, and the car owners Eddie and Dee Phillips.

John Gill is his favorite driver.
