David Godsey

David is from Orleans In., and is 34 years old . He races modifieds at his home track of Brownstown. He also races at  Bloomington, Red Hill, Florence and North Vernon.

David began racing in 1984 in a bomber  at Bloomington.  He got his first win  in his rookie year at Bloomington.

Ray Godsey the race car driver , was David's dad and all his family races so it was natural that he start racing. 

His 2002 car is a Bent Chassis with a Travis Kern Racing Engine,

David set a track record at Paragon Speedway. 

Going fast side by side is the greatest thrill in racing for David, and winning is the personal thrill for him.

The whole Godsey family, Shelly Sheldon, Amber Miller, Daniel Sheldon, Jeremy Ashabraner, Wes Tipton, Mike Stone, and Bobby Big Head  Johnson all help.
