Gary is 56 years old and from Martinsville In.  He calls  every where  his home track and races  Putnamville, Bloomington, Terra Haute, Gas City, and Charleston.

Gary just wanted to race. It "got in my blood." So in the 70s he started in go karts. in 1982 he went to street stocks and in 1992 to modifieds.  He got his first win in 1983 in a street stock at Putnamville.   In 85 and 86 he was runnier up in points .

2001: Gary was third in the points at Sullivan speedway. He finished in the top 5 every night but 2. 

Gary works all week and looks forward to going to the race track on the weekends.  His greatest racing thrill was his first win.  he just likes sliding in the mud.
