Mickey Roberts

Mickey is 38 years old and races Mini Stocks out of Madison In. Twin Citys is his home track. 

His 2002 car is a 1986 Ford Mustang.

Mickey started racing in 2001 in a mini stock. He had wanted to race since he was a little kid. His father-in-law brought  a car home one day and he got his chance. 

 He got his first win at Lawrenceburg speedway. He won the Saturday night Special for his first feature win. It was a Hoosier mini stock feature.

The thrill of racing is staying out of trouble and finishing every feature he is in. The biggest thrill Mickey has had is when he rolled at North Vernon in 2001. "What a thrill that was , although I have no desire to do it again."

The 2002 goal is to win a feature at Vernon , maybe even two

Cindy his wife , has learned a lot about working on 4 cylinders. His son Alan helps when he can. His father in law Dave and his friend Derrick Higbt also help.
