Sam Epling

     Sam Epling #28 from Bensenville, IL is 31 years of age. Sam is a regular on the Northern Allstars tour.

     Sam began racing in 1990 in the sportsman division. Racing is a  "family tradition" to Sam. His first win came in 1993 in a sportsman at Santa Fe Speedway. Sam's best points finish was 2nd in 1998 at LaSalle Speedway in the late model division.

     Sam's late model is a GRT chassis powered by a Rhyne race engine. His racing hero is the late Davey Allison.

     Sam's greatest racing accomplishment is being competitive. His greatest racing thrill was winning his first late model feature. Sam's racing goal is to race the UDTRA circuit and be competitive.
